Mothers of the Amazon was an initiative founded in 2018 by a concerned mother, Bane Saleh, as a response to her child – and all of our children – facing the global climate crisis. The mission is to protect the Amazon Rainforest and the health of its indigenous communities for future generations.
Mothers in the Amazon are at the frontlines of the defense of the largest rainforest in the world, raising the next generation of forest guardians that will ensure the protection of the Amazon for future generations.
