The unfolding patterns of July contain success, productivity and, as always, challenges. If you were to realize, as A Course in Miracles states, that the answer to everything, is whatever happened to you, you did it to yourself. Once learned you can turn whatever the problem is, no matter the form, over to the Holy Spirit to be undone. Yet, your mind is split, half responsible and half blaming, half given to success and half resisting it, half going to happiness and the Holy Spirit and the other half given to your ego and proving something about yourself in an imaginary world. Still, your ego, your personal mind, doesn’t want you to be really happy and have true success because that means it would lose some of its grip on you and lose some of itself at the same time. Success that comes through your personal mind is partly to stop you but mostly to keep you distracted in the world of dreams. Sooner or later, your life becomes disappointing, whether this is centered around yourself, a relationship, or your work. Only creativity, a strong spiritual life, or helping others can enliven your life when you begin to droop. Yet, at this time you are still caught in the dream of life rather than in life itself. The subconscious shows success is a choice, your choice. We forfeit the awareness of this choice when we choose to separate and make other agendas that we value more than success. When did that happen? Success is no big deal. We can have all we want but we are all so split-minded about it. We can have success to the extent we are not frightened to have it.
You could give your whole mind to the Holy Spirit, and as a result experience life without pain or sacrifice, without the need for lack, without the need to get something outside you. This can only be done through the Holy Spirit. It is the Tao that helps you remember you are One with God. Then, what else could you need? Unless you are full of happy memories, your past is dragging you and your success down. Memories like perception are not neutral. They serve the purpose we give them. Incidents in which you blamed others and used these projections to separate, also gave you a split mind. These were places of attack and self-attack that still remain. Your memory made an identity from these wounds but is it happy? You used these separations to limit yourself, but did they make you safe? And, bottom-line, it was you that did it to yourself. Are you and Heaven proud of what you have made of yourself? What is it you are still trying to achieve? What is it you are still trying to prove? Unless you are at beginning steps of your life or a project, your busyness and hard work are defenses that hide your fear of success. Where you are One with God you are totally successful and you have the fun, meaning and abundance to show for it. You, then, also have the profound peace and joy that makes every meeting with another an opportunity for joining and success.
Please take advantage of the opportunity that July brings. Dark clouds of disaster are still portending to come in November, December, and January, but July is another month in which these clouds can be dispelled completely by your healing now. Fear is an illusion but do not wait until the enemy army is at your front door to start saying your prayers. Your life is your responsibility. The life of everyone around you is your responsibility. They are reflections and projections of your hidden self-concepts about yourself. The world as you experience it is your responsibility. Do not be blindsided when there is so much you can do as it makes you happy to live your purpose and contribute. Your healing heals the world. Do not wait until you attack yourself for not doing what you could. Self-attack is at epidemic proportions and it is the deadliest epidemic. The subconscious shows that no matter how vicious or violent an attack against you, it is you attacking yourself. Self-attack is foolish. Like every emotion, such as heartbreak and guilt, it is meant to tie you to this world of dreams. Every emotion is a form of self-attack. It is you, as the ego, attacking yourself for making mistaken ego choices the ego urged you to make. On the other hand, even now you are being offered so much more than you have ever realized. Profound love and success await you. Your specialness and hard work to get and maintain your image are in the way of greater success. It’s not about you doing it but allowing the Tao to flow through you. Your life could always be profound if you turn your whole mind over to the Holy Spirit. If you did this completely you would become enlightened. What you believe that your ego taught you about success has limited not only success but the joy in it. The ego has cut you off from the connection, bonding and the tender filaments of intimacy, friendship and abundance that make success joyful. Yet your celebration of your partner, children, parents, and friends that make success fulsome and happy is limited by your resistance to celebrate yourself. Heaven celebrates you. Your failure to celebrate yourself is a form of arrogance that flies in the face of truth and Heaven’s knowledge of you as One with God. The rest occurred where you got off the track and judged yourself and others. Your life could be true and delightful. This is your essence. Welcome this truth. It will dissolve all of the specialness that feeds your problems.
Here are a few helpful hints:
Give up sacrifice. It is trying to cover an old mistake where you believe you are guilty that keeps you in pain and feeling like a failure. Sacrifice is the compensation for guilt about a past mistake that locks you in unworthiness. What occurred shows you separated in order to be independent and special and now you are working hard to maintain your specialness and with competition to prove you are the best.
Let go of the load you are carrying. It is a mistake that is trying to prove something about you that you don’t fully believe. Let it go. Recognize how you feel sorry for yourself because of the load you’ve been carrying. Let it go… Who and what you are has been established by God at the beginning. Get out of the way of this knowledge. It is within you. Heaven sees you totally innocent and completely loveable. The rest you made up yourself as an identity, and it is to your detriment. You are One with God Who is Oneness, Who is Heaven, Who is Love, Who only extends Himself. You are Part of That. Remember That. Every other belief is a prison that limits you. Healing is seeing Who you really are and letting go of the rest. You deserve to be celebrated. Start the celebration yourself. It is an irresistible party.
What is the darkest concept you have about yourself? What are you using it for? It is not true! It’s a dream that you have been using against yourself. Do you realize how arrogant, painful, and foolish it is to resist Heaven’s view of you? Your resistance is a resistance to God, Heaven, love, your purpose and what you truly deserve. Realize that what you believe about yourself that constricts and suppresses you, you also pass on to everyone else, everyone close to you. Everyone you love is choked by these same constrictions. Those you love won’t escape what you have done to yourself. The more people you include in your happiness and self-love, the more your love and God’s Love expands to embrace the world. This need not make you busy or be a form of untrue extroversion because self-love and happiness begin inside you. They are a form of presence that shares your wholeness and leads you to your Presence.
Give up your judgment and your being right. If you are not happy, you are making someone wrong to hide a mistake you feel guilty about by acting ‘right’ to compensate for it. This can lead you to being `dead right.’ Your judgments divide you, your nation, your family and you from your partner.
Give up your way as the only way. Your way stifles partnership and it is not Heaven’s Way. The more you resist Heaven’s way the harder your life will be. Your way is a compensation and leads to ‘grave’ disappointments. Your way is a mistake; it comes from some form of expectation and entitlement that is actually a demand, based on a need, that is a form of taking and leads to pain.
Let go of blaming, your blame simply hides your guilt, and then you project your guilt onto others, because you can’t stand the feeling of guilt. Yet you still don’t escape the attack you have inside you for yourself. We attack others thinking it will protect us from attack. But it doesn’t work. It only increases attack and self-attack. What you do to others, you do to yourself whether it is positive or negative. Some of your grievances are so old you’ve actually begun to think that what you projected and remembered was actually the way it happened.
Let go of competition. It is killing your relationship and your chance for a happy life. Competition supplants adrenaline for intimacy. It makes both you and others losers because there is a vicious circle between winning and losing and you need losing to have winning mean something. Your ego may have you working hard to be a winner but it will have you end up being a loser. Let it go. When you realize you are God’s Child then you know everyone can win. You compete to hide your inadequacy but competition has you avoid your purpose by paying attention to the wrong thing. Competition puts the emphasis on beating another rather than simply on success. Your purpose is the way through to find yourself. Your living your purpose is measured by the amount of fulfilment and creativity you feel. If you are fulfilled, the radiance of your happiness shines out in creative joy. What you truly give that is successful contributes to the whole world. That and how much you allow yourself to receive are what real success is. What you truly receive can be shared and thus is added to everyone’s success. Real success is a gift to the whole world. Your healing is a gift to the whole world.
You work so hard but it hides your real success. Busyness and hard work are an avoidance of what would really have you succeed. For success is not the amount of hard work you do or your busyness or even the people you know. It is the amount of connection you have with yourself, others, and Heaven. This brings inspiration, joy and success.
Heaven wishes you complete happiness. Where you are not completely happy you are not following Heaven’s way but still blaming another and Heaven for your lack. Forgive them and yourself for the story you made up is simply not true. Forgive others and Heaven for your mistakes. Heaven gave you everything and to make that eternal, it made You everything.
No matter what seems to be stopping you, it is actually just your fear of the next stage. No matter how big or how small your fear, it can stop you. Love heals fear. Forgiveness heals fear. The Holy Spirit heals fear. Your Oneness with God heals fear. The love, miracles, grace, you extend with God’s Love, which is the essence of a miracle, heals fear. Fear is the opposite of Heaven and you are Part of God, Part of Heaven. Remember!
Heal your denial. You are responsible for everything around you. Any resistance, anger and attack is reflecting your mind back to you. The heartbreaks around you are your own dissociated heartbreaks. All stuckness and sickness you see is your blockage. Helping others out of their stuckness frees you. Love and courage to go forward frees you. The world is your mirror. Take responsibility. Only then can you change it by changing yourself. See the problem. Recognize it as your responsibility and give it to the Holy Spirit to undo. It is your dream. If you want to heal something in someone you love, then heal it in yourself where it is hidden in you so it can be healed in them.
No matter what, you can choose to be happy! Happiness is a choice and it is infectious. It is the best gift you can give the world. It keeps you in the channel of grace that sustains you and keeps you centered. Your happiness is a choice that frees, uplifts, and empowers both you and others. You can only be upset if you are attached to something in the world that didn’t go your way as if it is real, and as if you really need it. Heaven will support you in being unattached, easy, and free if you keep choosing happiness. Do you really need something outside yourself if you are happy?
Specialness and attachments are substitutes for love. Life is not about you or your specialness, it is about love, learning, and success. It is about love, joining and union. Specialness on the other hand is the motivation for all separation and thus for all pain. Every victimization is used both as a chance for attention and in order to separate so you can be special. When you separated and became independent you did so with so much pain. Was it worth it? If you saw it through the eyes of the Tao, all misunderstanding and pain would be dissolved. If you had joined and shared the soul gift you brought in for that situation, you would have grown and helped instead of suffered, You set up a self-destructive pattern by blaming another, separating from yourself, them and now all others as well. You can’t separate from God but your beliefs can take you farther away from Love and grace.
Don’t hide and deny what needs your awareness to heal. If you have a problem of any kind you have hidden an important piece of the puzzle. You have deceived yourself about what is crucial for you to let go of. No matter what it is, it is simply a fear of the next step, a fear you will lose something you think is vital to you. Within your fear you have a grievance with someone whose joy would free you with truth and forgiveness. You have guilt where you have made a mistake, that simply needs correction rather than punishment and imprisonment. This mistake stifles learning, healing, and the correction that brings success. Changing your mind about yourself can heal anything. You are God’s Child. The rest is your dream about yourself and the world.
All heartbreaks bring hatred and self-hatred. They are illusions of revenge against another that you thought hurt you. Your deeper mind shows you it was you that set it up and the heartbreak is now held against everyone, including your partner, parents, your children, and everyone you love. When you hate, the one you hate comes from the side of your split mind that you have hidden and denied.
Look at your life in both its positive aspects and negative aspects. What it shows is how you have used your power in action. Reflect on it but know you have so much more power still locked away within you. When you seem to need power, it is because of a place where you have judged and compressed yourself. Heaven is here to help you regain your power and confidence. Heaven’s purpose is for creation and for Love, but it is also for regaining your Power. Your mind expands much more as you share your love and God’s Love in miracles.
Be aware of your split mind. When you recognize that what is happening in your life and the world is both your wish and your projected judgment of your guilt, you have so much that you can heal, integrate and transform to peace.
Any problem you have shows a split mind. You want what you want and at the same time you don’t want it. You could ask yourself why you don’t want what is missing in your life and learn a great deal about what you have hidden in your subconscious and what you are hiding from yourself. The bottom line is that any conflict stops you as the fear in a conflict blocks you from going forward. A conflict stops forward movement because of the two parts of your mind, each wanting disparate goals make you afraid because each part can’t be fulfilled together at the same time.
It is important to heal your dark side that is full of shadows. This includes self-concepts of devils, killers, rapists, dunces, victims, criminals, liars and much more. Anything or anyone you hate is a shadow within you. If you have them in you or see them around you, you have them as beliefs about yourself that carry self-hatred in your mind. You have Hitlers & Stalins in your mind not to mention the present politicians you can’t stand. These shadows contain beliefs that go against you and have a different goal than your conscious mind. They are at the root of all self-hatred and self-sabotage. Be aware of any dark glamor or specialness present in darkness. There is a certain hidden glee in darkness and defeat, but also there is a lot of sadness and suffering.
Another aspect that is working against your success is your Dark Stories. These are scripts written by you that affect you with their attack and self-attack. These Dark Stories work against your ostensible goals. Here are some of the Dark Stories that keep you nailed to a cross and that produce rip currents in your life: Scarcity, Sickness, Suffering, Hatred, Heartbreak, Self-Hatred, Victim, Revenge, Loss, Stress, Guilt, Exploitation and Sacrifice. And the list goes on and on. And we are the one who is writing these stories against our own self-interests. As you discover each dark story, ask yourself how many you have. Then ask what you are using them for. What are you trying to prove about yourself by having these stories? What you try to prove about yourself, you don’t really believe. As you explore, you will find yourself delving deeply into the subconscious and what you have hidden from yourself. You can ask how old is the self writing this particular story. You can ask how many selves at that age are writing this story? Take their crayons away from them unless they are ancient then take their quill and ink away. Ask the angels to help you bring your love and Divine Love to them and carry them to your present age, melting them back into you adding to your power and wholeness, reconnecting wires that had been cut in your heart, mind, and body so long ago. Your stories give you an identity that you then work hard to live up to or down to. If it is not what you want, let it and the dark stories go. Give them to the Holy Spirit to be undone.
This month is meant to be one of ease, flow, and grace. Let it be one of healing and rejuvenation for you. May you have a blessed and fruitful month. Heaven is offering you a thousand welcomes. Accept them.
