HEALING THE IDOL OF DEPRESSION is the card of the day. An idol is something we think we can’t live without, something that makes us secure and complete, something that saves us. Idols lead to heartbreaks and shattered dreams because they cannot sustain us. Ask how many of these idols of depression you have and what you have been using them for. Then put them on the altar of God to spirit them away. If God didn’t create them they don’t exist but are merely illusions that we have given credence to.
