Since the outbreak of the pandemic, we are more aware than ever how uncertain and uncontrollable our lives are. We are forced to remain flexible and let go or adjust our plans at any time. Even before that there were global problems such as global warming, terrorism and increasing inequality between rich and poor. But we ignore what we are not directly affected by and feel that we have our own life under control. But now it feels like we’ve switched from a brisk walk straight to extreme climbing. Corona accelerates our process and brings out the repressed, for each individual as well as for the global community.

How can we be confident and happy at a time when everything is so difficult? The key is in our heart. In this series of courses we will pursue this question with Susanne’s competent guidance and the loving support of the group. We use proven and new methods of Psychology of Vision® as well as tried and tested techniques from body and energy work. We set the following thematic priorities in order to live in harmony with our hearts:

1. Course weekend: “Heart connection”
When everything is difficult, it creates fear in us. Fears are negative fantasies about what could happen. This makes us reactive and we try desperately to do the right thing. But that’s not enough. Everything we do is about being in touch with our heart and with others. Only then does the “right thing” become meaningful and effective.

2. Course weekend: “Let go of control”
We control so that it runs the way we want it, because we think it will be the right way. But life cannot be controlled. We don’t have it under control, as we’ve just experienced quite impressively. If we let go of control and trust life again, things will be fine. That means not that it will come as we imagine it will. That is an expectation and thus a form of control. Rather, trust means, as it comes, it is good.

3. Course weekend: “Living in harmony with the heart” or “Empathy for the world”
If this global crisis teaches us anything, it is that we are all connected. We try to isolate ourselves and thus protect ourselves. Physically that might make sense, but energetically we need connection now.

Mani Matter, a Bernese songwriter , sums it up in one of his dialect songs: “Those who are doing well would be better off if those who are worse off are doing better. But that does not work without those who are well, are now worse off.”

Now is the time to face the world with compassion rather than separating with judgment. Empathy with others helps others and heals breaks in us. Only love can give meaning again. Thus we live in harmony with our heart and in harmony with others.
